Referral Bonus – Get you mates and colleagues to play for you!

If you refer a new member to www.sportspicks.co.za  and they enter and win the Durban July competition (after tiebreakers are taken into account if necessary, see below) we will pay you as a referring member R500 in cash.

You can invite your mates any way you want to but make sure they put your full name in when they fill in the “Referral” section during registration.

Once they have registered with you as a referrer you will retain this status for any similar future promotions we may run (in other words guys if you referred someone for the Currie Cup or World Cup, make sure to e-mail them and tell them to play in the Durban July)

Note only referrers who themselves have an entry in this competition will be eligible.

Tip: To track the progress of the mates you invite set up a mini league and get them to join. It will then be easy for you to see how your charges are doing.

Tiebreaker
Due to the nature of the competition ties are a real possibility – please note the tiebreaker as described in the "How to Play" section and listed below for easy reference will come into effect in the event of any tie in the prize categories mentioned above.

A tie will be decided by comparing your tie-breaker predictions to the actual outcome of the race (Submitted when entering your team). For example, if your choice for 1st finishes 3rd in the race, you get 2 points (3-1). If your choice for 2nd finishes 7th you would get 5 points (7-2) and the same applies for your choice for 3rd and 4th. Note it does not matter whether your choice finishes higher or lower than what you predicted your points will equal to the amount of positions you are out. So if you picked a horse for 4th and it won you would get 3 points (4-1). The player, involved in the tie, with the lowest tiebreaker score, will be determined the winner. If there is still a tie after this process, the prize will be split.

Prize winners will be announced on Monday the 2nd of August.
